We are Days Gone By

The very first lines of the Anglo-Saxon epic poem Beowulf speak of the 'We Gardena in geardagum', or the Spear-Danes in the old days. The genre of 'Fornaldarsaga' in Old Norse Literature speak of legends in the days of old. We seek to evoke those legendary stories of individuals who lived in the Days Gone By...

  A Partnership

Samuel and Hayden met at the University of Nottingham in 2015. Between them, they ran and coached at the University of Nottingham Medieval Combat Society, successfully managing the growth of the society and the training of new members. They both volunteered for the University of Nottingham Vikings in Schools programme, where they learned a skill for delivering historical workshops together.
